Adi Senitoa 2009

2 09 2009

Hibiscus has just ended here in Fiji, for those of you not fully aware of what the Hibiscus is, well in short, it is a local beauty pageant held in Suva every year, and it seems to get better every year. This year was a record number of contestants for all the categories combined. Food was great, BBQ Galore but boy were the rides quite expensive (Fiji terms) for kids.

Besides the price, the Rides have I must say improved since ‘Our Rama Lili Days’, now they have proper cars that go round and round, and much more realistic compared to the boxes we had in the days; horses and even a Dragon Roller-coaster, times have definitely changed, Lucky kids!

We had a great time on closing day however this was marred by one small incident at the end of it all. Tow trucks!

Saturday’s Float procession was colourful, and very full, here are some of the photos put together in a collage. Until the next festival…Moce mada!
